Another historic royal wedding is set to take place this summer. After the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Royal family is all set to have their first ever homosexual wedding.
Lord Ivar Mountbatten, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, first made history when he announced he was gay in 2016 and became the first member of the royal family to do so.
Following his announcement, Lord Mountbatten revealed he was in a relationship with James Coyle, who he will marry during the summer.
Lord Mountbatten was married till 2011 when he divorced his ex-wife.He has three daughters from that marriage. But what makes this wedding even more special is that Mountbatten’s ex-wife will play a special role in this wedding.
Seems like the royal family’s attitudes towards gay weddings are changing that indicate a major social change in the Royal family.
Harry and Meghan have already made clear their support of gay rights but it is not yet confirmed whether the royal seniors would attend the ceremony.
It is quite surprising to see the Royal family who had quite strict views on homosexuality are having their own first ever gay wedding with Prince William and Prince Harry supporting the gay rights. Well it looks like,,,
